Privacy Notice

This notice explains, in plain language, what information CaseWeave collects, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: Draft — pending legal review

First-pass draft — pending review by qualified legal counsel before launch.

What we collect

We collect the evidence and details you choose to share — for example screenshots, transfer records, messages, and a description of what happened. We also collect basic technical information (such as your browser type) needed to run the service. You can start using CaseWeave without creating an account.

How we use it

We use your information only to organize your evidence into a shared case, to group it with others hit by the same fraud, and to produce a report you can hand to an attorney or authority. We do not use your information for advertising.

We never sell your data

We never sell your personal information, and we never share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Your evidence belongs to you.

Your rights (including CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy of it, to ask us to delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell your information, there is nothing for you to opt out of selling. You can exercise any of these rights at any time by contacting us, and we will not penalize you for doing so.

How we protect it

Your data is private by default. We limit who can see it and take reasonable steps to keep it secure. You stay in control: you can access or delete your data at any time.
